What does a high frequency wand do?

Argon or neon electrode: which one?

Argon (violet) electrodes are traditionally used on oily, blemish-prone skin; neon (orange-red) on mature skin and the scalp. Most kits include several shapes for face, spot and comb use.

Is it safe to use at home?

Yes when used as directed: dry skin, no metal jewellery, short sessions of a few minutes per area, and never over broken skin. Not for use if you are pregnant or have a pacemaker.
