Hair Styling Tools — frequently asked questions

What temperature should I straighten at?
Fine or damaged hair: 150 to 170°C. Normal hair: 175 to 190°C. Thick or coarse hair: up to 210°C. Always use a heat protectant and pass through each section once rather than repeatedly.
Ceramic, tourmaline or titanium plates?
Ceramic heats evenly and suits most hair; tourmaline adds negative ions to cut frizz; titanium heats fastest and holds temperature for thick, resistant hair.
Do these tools work on Canadian voltage?
Every tool in this collection is listed for 120V use in Canada unless the product page states a dual-voltage travel model.
