Facial Steamers

Prep skin for cleansing and masks with a facial steamer. Nano-ionic steam softens the surface, loosens blackheads and helps serums absorb, and warm steam is a soothing part of a home spa routine. Compact tabletop units and professional salon steamers are both here.

Facial Steamers — frequently asked questions

How long should I steam my face?
Five to ten minutes, at a comfortable distance of about 20 to 30 cm, once or twice a week. Follow with a gentle cleanse, extraction if needed and a hydrating mask or serum.
Can I use tap water in a facial steamer?
Use distilled or purified water. Tap water leaves mineral scale that clogs the heater and can spit during use. Descale the unit as the manual advises.
Is steaming good for acne-prone skin?
Gentle steam can help unclog pores before a salicylic acid treatment, but keep sessions short and avoid steaming active, inflamed breakouts or rosacea-prone skin.
