Foil or rotary shaver?

Foil shavers give a closer, more precise shave and suit daily shaving and sensitive skin. Rotary shavers handle longer growth and contours better and suit shaving every few days.

Can I use an electric shaver in the shower?

Only models rated wet and dry, usually marked IPX7. They can be used with gel or foam and rinsed under the tap; dry-only shavers must stay away from water.

How often should I replace the shaver head?

Every 12 to 18 months for most brands. If the shave takes longer or pulls, the blades are dull and a replacement head restores performance.
