Are bath bombs safe for sensitive skin?

Look for bath bombs made with skin-safe colourants, natural butters and essential oils rather than heavy synthetic fragrance. If you react easily, start with an unscented Epsom salt soak and add a small amount of a scented bomb.

How much Epsom salt goes in a bath?

Most brands recommend one to two cups of Epsom salt in a standard warm bath, dissolved for about 20 minutes. Follow the amount on the pack, as some soaks are more concentrated than others.

Will bath bombs stain the tub?

Quality bath bombs rinse away without staining, but glitter and strong dyes can leave a ring on older tubs. Rinse the bath straight after and choose glitter-free formulas if your tub is porous.
